Time4Yourself and Refreshment

I love the word refreshment.  I am not sure why but I just like the way it sounds and how it rolls off my tongue, but most likely I love it because of what it represents.

When I hear the word I think of lemonade, cool water, a babbling brook, a lazy summer afternoon in a hammock.  Just thinking of those things refreshes me.


What refreshes you?  According to the dictionary to be refreshed means to provide new vigor and energy by rest, food, etc. 

New vigor!  Doesn’t that sound great when you think about how tired you are, how overwhelmed and overworked? 

Take a refreshment break today, every day and see how invigorated you feel. 

1.  Read a fun book for an hour

2.  Swing on a swing/hammock

3.  Go for a walk in the woods/outdoors

4.  Sing at the top of your lungs

5.  Dance like a pro in your own home

6.  Have a glass of lemonade

7.  Take a nap

8.  Play with a child

9.  Paint – finger painting is great fun

10.  Laugh out loud

Go refresh yourself!
