About

As a board certified life coach, I have a specialty in working with busy women.   It seems that no matter the career path, in the home or out of the home, women are busier than ever and their health and well-being are sacrificed every day.  I was no different.

Unfortunately, like most life lessons, I had to learn the hard way.  After my health was affected by overwork, stress and the every day demands of a working mother in a career that required my attention 24/7, I decided to make some serious changes.

Using what I have learned coupled with my training as a life coach, spiritual director and pastor, I work with women who want to live by design not by default and who want more out of life than a paycheck and exhaustion at the end of the week.

This blog is designed to share my experiences and my research on the effects of stressors and lack of down time on the human mind, body and soul.   With only one life to live and no dress rehearsal, it is important to be intentional about each choice we make toward answering Mary Oliver’s famous question…”What are you going to do with this one precious, wild life you have?”

My hope is to bring life and light to your answer.   My answer is to find the fun and live joy.  And that includes taking time for myself.

If you are interested in coaching sessions to find your answer, please call me at 585-943-3314.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Finding the fun and living the joy,

Nancy

Nancy, love your athlete analogy!! Lately when friends or coworkers comment on my weight loss I’ve been saying ‘I need to be in shape, if I’m gonna get back in the game’. (Of life and love)… Thanks again for your insightful words of encouragement for growth! Love, Lisa
